Non-Flying Paprika is a totally fun reinterpretation of the traditional kilim rug by Designer Saskia Van der Linden!

On classic Persian motifs are placed funny and offbeat prints, almost larger than life: rabbit, flowers, dog, fish and even a portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte!

These illustrations, by Dutch artist Saskia van der Linden, are a kind of giant digital collage, a dreamlike floor painting in trendy vintage hues. This illustrator has been drawing and painting since her early childhood. Her retro imagery is influenced by her mother, who collected old magazines from the 1950s and 1960s, antique dolls, trinkets, and other objects found at flea markets.

The Non-Flying Carpet has a non-slip underside and a waterproof, stain-resistant finish that makes it very easy to clean. It is soft and has a thin foam filling (6 mm). Thanks to an ingenious system of red buttons around the edge of the carpet, it can be enlarged as desired! To do this, simply connect it to a second, third, or even fourth carpet to create a unique XXL floor covering.
