5-year WARRANTY optional.

The 5-year warranty extension contract is inseparable from the product to which it is attached. It cannot be ordered separately from the product. CARREMENT PLANCHA guarantees that all selected products are imported for the European Community, including FRANCE.

In all cases, CARREMENT PLANCHA cannot be held responsible for non-compliance with the regulatory and legislative provisions in force in the receiving country. CARREMENT PLANCHA's liability is systematically limited to the value of the product in question, the value on its date of sale, without the possibility of recourse against the brand or the company producing the product. In any event, the customer benefits from the legal guarantee of eviction and hidden defects (Art. 1625 et seq. of the Civil Code). Provided that the buyer proves the hidden defect, the seller must legally repair all the consequences (Art. 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code). If the buyer goes to court, he must do so within a "short period" of time from the discovery of the hidden defect (Art. 1648 of the Civil Code). This warranty contract applies exclusively to the equipment recorded in the attached invoice with the mention "5-year Warranty Extension". It extends the contractual manufacturer's warranty up to 5 years from the date of purchase of the equipment sold by the store. This warranty extension covers the replacement of defective parts and labor according to the conditions applied by the supplier or importer of the brand. The equipment must be returned or shipped to our store, after a telephone contact at 0971 38 66 39. The warranty extension is transferable and cannot be renewed.

Not covered by the extended warranty:

  • Theft, breakage, as well as damage involving the liability of a third party or resulting from misuse, intentional or fraudulent fault (shocks, accidents, sand, oxidation, etc.)
  • Damage resulting from the use of energy, installation, use or connection not in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications or instructions or from the use of unsuitable peripherals, accessories or consumables.
  • Damage resulting from modification, cleaning and repairs carried out personally or by third parties.
  • Damage due to fire, lightning, storm, water damage, vandalism.
  • Material or immaterial damage resulting from equipment breakdown (disturbance of enjoyment, etc.).
  • The warranty does not cover films, rolls and recording media under any circumstances, and does not allow for any compensation whatsoever.

Commercial guarantees provided by product manufacturers (product failure).

In addition to legal guarantees, certain goods sold on the site benefit from the manufacturer's warranty, the scope and duration of which vary depending on the product and brand.

Generally, manufacturer warranties do not cover:

  • Replacement of consumables (batteries, bulbs, fuses, wear of recording or reading heads, etc.),
  • Abnormal or non-compliant use of the products,
  • Damage due to the intervention of a repairer not approved by the manufacturer,
  • Damage resulting from a cause external to the device (e.g. accident, shock, lightning, power fluctuation, etc.).

We therefore invite you to carefully consult the instructions for use provided with the products and the exact terms of the manufacturer's warranties that may be included with the products. In any case, CARREMENT PLANCHA cannot be held responsible in the event of the manufacturer's refusal to apply its warranty for the reasons set out above. When the manufacturer's warranty is not applicable, the repair will be subject to a quote drawn up by the manufacturer. Administrative fees may be charged by the manufacturer if you request the return of your product without the repairs proposed in this quote. You can also choose to abandon your product at no additional cost.

Reminder of our T&Cs.

This 5-year warranty extension granted to the Customer on certain products. In order to implement this warranty, the Seller will itself register the information relating to the Customer (contact details, product serial number, etc.) with the manufacturers of the products. In this context, the Seller reserves the right to open the packaging of the packages concerned in order to retrieve the information relating to the product. Legal product warranty Regardless of any commercial warranties and after-sales service provided to the Customer, the Seller remains bound by the legal guarantee of conformity mentioned in Articles L. 211-4 to L. 211-13 of the Consumer Code with regard to consumer Customers, and that of defects in the thing sold under the conditions provided for in Articles 1641 to 1648 and 2232 of the Civil Code with regard to all Customers.  article. L. 211-4 of the Consumer Code “The seller is required to deliver goods that comply with the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. He is also liable for any lack of conformity resulting from the packaging, assembly instructions or installation when this has been made his responsibility by the contract or has been carried out under his responsibility.”  article. L. 211-5 of the Consumer Code “To comply with the contract, the goods must: o Correspond to the description given by the seller and possess the qualities that the latter presented to the buyer in the form of a sample or model; o Present the qualities that a buyer can legitimately expect in view of the public statements made by the seller, by the producer or by his representative, in particular in advertising or labeling; o Be suitable for the use usually expected of a similar good and, where applicable: 2. Or present the characteristics defined by mutual agreement between the parties or be suitable for any special use sought by the buyer, brought to the attention of the seller and accepted by the latter. »  article. L. 211-12 of the Consumer Code « The action resulting from the lack of conformity is prescribed by two years from the delivery of the good. »  article. 1641 of the Civil Code « The seller is bound by the guarantee for hidden defects in the thing sold which make it unfit for the use for which it is intended, or which reduce this use so much that the buyer would not have acquired it, or would have paid a lower price for it, if he had known them. »  article. 1648 al.1 of the Civil Code "The action resulting from latent defects must be brought by the purchaser within two years from the discovery of the defect." In the case provided for by article 1642-1, "the action must be brought, under penalty of foreclosure, within one year following the date on which the seller can be discharged from apparent defects or lack of conformity." In the event of a lack of conformity or defect in the product, the Customer will inform the Seller in writing of the defects noted by contacting Customer Service. If the lack of conformity or defect is proven, the Seller will proceed, in accordance with the law in force, to the exchange, repair, or refund of the product. The return costs will be reimbursed to the Customer, upon presentation of supporting documents, after return of the product. Implementation of the guarantee For the legal or commercial guarantee, any return of the product must be carried out under the conditions of the article "RETURN OF GOODS". The purchase invoice mentioning the guarantee must be attached to the returned product, if applicable.
