Tips and tricks:
Before first use, we recommend that you heat the griddle slightly and pour in a little white vinegar before bringing it up to temperature.
It is now ready to use. Always start by spraying a little olive oil on your plancha. While facilitating the non-sticking of food on the plate, this will help retain the water in the food and prevent the appearance of oxidized fats which are unhealthy. After 5 minutes of heating your plancha will have reached its maximum temperature and you can begin cooking. This high temperature allows contact cooking of all kinds of food: meat, fish, vegetables, fruits...
If you need to cook two foods with opposite tastes (meat/fish), you can rub your griddle with white vinegar. It will remove food residue and neutralize odors.
Lightly clean your griddle between two cooking sessions of the same taste by pouring a little room temperature water onto the griddle and scraping off any food residue with a spatula.
Oil the cooking surface well to facilitate cleaning after cooking. Your hob should be cleaned after each cooking session. If possible, do this while your hob is still warm, using a sponge and dish soap.
NEVER USE ICE CUBES TO CLEAN YOUR PLANCHA AS THERMAL SHOCK MAY DAMAGE YOUR PLATE AND ITS ENAMEL.
