Thanks to the porosity of their structure, they absorb the fats which are calcined by pyrolysis when you lower the cooking hood.
Despite this, residue builds up in the center of the pebbles and can cause unwanted odors. Although it is difficult to plan a lava stone replacement schedule, it is advisable to replace these stones at a minimum:
